About DeApotheek

THE CONCEPT

Set in an old pharmacy in Gentbrugge, dating from 1880, DeApotheek wants to expand horizons and taste palates. Belgian beers raised the bar and stirred something up in the brewing world, all over the world. Brewers from all over the world are in awe of the quality of Belgian beers. This incited creativity amongst brewers all over the world to compete with these outstanding beers. The result is a huge range of amazing beers, a wide variety of beer styles, cross over styles, cross over techniques and simply a lot of delicous tasting brews brewed in every corner of the world. It's time people in Belgium reap the beer harvest and sample what the world has to offer in beers.

Non Belgian Beers

I offer a wide variety of beers, beer styles and origins. I work with brewers I truly love and cherish. Think of Estonian BA Imperial Stouts, Hazy IPA's from Manchester, West Coast IPA's from The Netherlands, Gose beers from Spain, Coffee Stouts from New Zealand, Fruit Sours from the USA, Smoked Double Bock from Germany, non alcoholic fruit sour from Poland, New England IPA's from France,...

Juices

(coming soon) The best ginger juice, and ginger shots are made in Haarlem by Paulies Ginger. Ex-dredging project manager Paul Opdam and his wife and brother in law produce the most amazing organic ginger/cardemom slow juice on the planet.

New & available!
Apart from that, I also offer juice concentrate from Soof, based in Amsterdam.

Natural Wines

(coming soon)

There are a lot of wines in the world. At DeApotheek we love tasty, elegant, fruity natural wines with no sweetness.

I'll bring you sensational all organic wines from Georgia, Italy, Sicily, France (Loire).  And Franciacorta from Piedmonte.

I keep the price/quality ratio in mind. We go for tasty, drinkable and affordable wines. You're supposed to drink wines, not keep them as an investment.
