Monthly beer tastings
We will now host monthly beer tasting sessions on the second Friday of the month. There are 6 slots available. Tastings are 45,00 EUR/pp. You'll explore up to 6 unique, exclusive and sensational beers. Some Italian bread products will be available to reset your taste buds in between the samples.

THE BEER EXPERIENCE
DeApotheek was invited to host a tasting event at The Beer Experience on Saturday March 23 in Heusden-Zolder. This festival embraces gastronomy, culture, elegant and refined drinks. So DeApotheek fully endorses such event! Set at the refurbished mining site in Limburg, you can sign up and explore some of the most exclusive beers out there, together with me.
Beer tastings
As of September 2022 you can book beer tastings at DeApotheek. Groups of two up to eight people can sample and discover unique beers, accompagnied by some delicious Italian food from across the street (Collina2Go).
Tastings are curated, and can be made customized of course. Just pitch me your ideas, we'll make it work.
Prices on request. (ball park figure: 45,- €/pp for 6 half cans/bottles, food, snacks, stories, music, during 2,5 hours).
Althaia Beers
Good news. Althaia Beers are coming. DeApotheek will be the first shop in the Benelux offering beers from this awesome brewery.
My first encounter with this mediterranean brewery was a while ago, in Valencia. Amazed by the quality of the brews I filed Althaia under 'interesting breweries' inside my head. Recently, when I was in Varna, Bulgaria, for a friend's wedding, I spotted Althaia beers in a local beer shop/bar (Averi Beers). My friends and I were blown away when we sampled a few of their beers. The Barlovento was something out of this world. It became very clear that Althaia deserves a prominent spot at DeApotheek.
Rest assured, you will be in awe of their stout, IPA's (NE Double and Black Rye), Gose, Berliner Weisse (blood orange infused!), Ryujin (fruit sour), ...
Smash #2 - Tourette
DeApotheek is proud to announce that it's one of the few venues in the world where you can get Tourette Brewing's SMASH #2 beer.
Smash beers stands for Single Malt And Single Hop beer. It became a trend with American home brewers the last few years. The trick is to brew an amazing beer with just a single malt and a single hop, and thus reducing costs and time. Any type of beer can be a SMASH.
SMASH brewing is now more widely spread and Gentbrugge brewer Tourette Brewing managed to brew a smash hit!
This one is an IPA SMASH. Seriously bitter, in your face, dry as the Sierra Nevada and very delicious.
